The Nesvizh castle or more correctly it is called the Palace and park complex of the princes of the Radziwills, is the main object of the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Nesvizh”. In addition to visiting the tourists are opened the Town Hall, the Farny Church with the tomb of the Radziwills and the Slutsk Gate. The Nesvizh palace and park complex is one of the most famous tourist sites of the country. After the restoration, which ended in 2012, every year it is visited by about 400 thousand people from all over the world. This is understandable, because it is in no way inferior to the castles and palaces of other European countries. – Employees of the complex are actively adopting the experience of their European counterparts. There were internships in Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Poland. It is important for us to meet global standards. Much of what has appeared in our museum is the know-how for our country. For example, we are the only ones who switched to the modern ticket-turnstile system of visitors registration. On the historical objects of Nesvizh, a QR code system was implemented with obtaining information from the site of the museum-reserve. For tourists in the exposition halls of the palace 180 audio guides are available in 6 foreign languages - says Sergey Klimov, director of the National Historical and Cultural Museum of the Nesvizh reserve. The active cultural activity of the museum-preserve also contributes to the popularity of the Nesvizh palace and park complex. Every year at the end of June there are opera and ballet nights, which attract about 7,000 spectators, concerts, theater festivals, palace balls, museum performances, international exhibitions. The Museum-Reserve takes part in the Museum Night, but the program lasts much longer than in the rest of Belarus – about 10 days. the beginning of May always coincides with the most active visit of our country to Russian tourists. During this period, there are museum theatrical performances and concerts, in which performers and collectives from the capital take part. In the near future, the museum-reserve plans to implement a number of new projects. First of all, this is a re-exposure to the Town Hall, where a new exposition will be dedicated to the history of Nesvizh and a small children’s museum. In addition, it is planned to organize a museum of private collections, new expositions in the palace, fast food restaurant, mini-hotels.
