On the road P114 in the place where the Ulla River and the Western Dvina meet, in a small village (Ulla Village), there is the Trinity Church, which they managed to restore. The church is Orthodox.
It was built in the very end of the 19th century, there is also a later Catholic – the Holy Spirit. Also in these places there was the Ullsky Castle, the construction of which began in the 16th century, during the Livonian War. After a hundred years, Russian troops destroyed the fortress, on which the history of the castle ended.
